Welcome to Yatra's Cooking Cave. By using our website yatrascookingcave.in to order food or subscribe to a meal plan, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Yatra's Cooking Cave ("we", "us", "our") is a home kitchen at No-7, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 600040, run by its founder. FSSAI licence number 22423537000658. "You" means anyone who uses our website or orders from us.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent on WhatsApp (or by SMS if WhatsApp is not available). There is no password. Your email address is optional.
• Please give correct details: your name, mobile number and delivery address. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
• When you first sign up you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and to receive order and meal-plan updates on WhatsApp. We send offers or promotions only if you agree, and you can stop them at any time.

3. Ordering and prices

• All food is cooked fresh in our own kitchen. We do not use outside restaurants or vendors.
• The price shown at checkout, including delivery charge and GST, is the final price. It will not change after you pay.
• Dishes depend on what we can cook each day. If a dish becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you and offer a replacement or a refund for that item.
• Photos are for illustration. Home-cooked food can look slightly different each day.

4. Payments

• Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay on behalf of Axis Bank. We never see or store your card or bank details.
• We may also accept UPI or cash on delivery when these are offered at checkout.

5. Delivery

We deliver with our own staff to the areas shown on our website. Delivery charges, times and rules are in our Delivery Policy. Delivery times are our best estimate and can be affected by traffic or weather.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In short: you can cancel with a full refund until your order is out for delivery; after that it cannot be cancelled; if we cancel, or an item is wrong or missing, you get a refund.

7. Meal plans (subscriptions)

• You choose one, two or all three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and your dates. Meals are delivered Monday to Saturday in set time windows. There is no meal-plan delivery on Sunday.
• The plan price includes food, delivery and GST, and is paid in full before the plan starts. Our kitchen confirms your plan before it starts. A plan cannot be cancelled for a refund once it starts; if you stop midway, your unused meals are carried forward and must be used within 30 days.
• Skipping a meal: tell us at least 24 hours in advance and the meal is added to the end of your plan. If our kitchen closes on a plan day, that meal is also added to the end of your plan. Skipped meals are not refunded in money.
• Meals are packed in a banana leaf inside our stainless-steel tiffin box (carrier). A refundable caution deposit of ₹2,000 is paid once, with your first plan.
• If a carrier is damaged or lost, a deduction is made from the deposit depending on its condition. If the carriers are returned undamaged, the full deposit is refunded within 3 working days of your request.

8. About our food

Our food is prepared hygienically with quality rice, fresh spices, home-made masala, pure groundnut oil and RO-treated water. If you have an allergy or a dietary need, please check with us before ordering.

9. Who can use the website

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

10. Using the website properly

You agree not to misuse the website. This includes posting unlawful or abusive content, trying to access other people's accounts or our systems, spamming, uploading harmful software, or copying the website or its code. We may suspend access for misuse.

11. Our content

The text, photos, logos and design on this website belong to Yatra's Cooking Cave and may not be used without our written permission.

12. Feedback and reviews

If you send us feedback or a review, you allow us to use it to improve our service. We may remove content that is misleading, abusive or unlawful.

13. Our responsibility

We take care to cook safely and deliver on time. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes or network outages. Our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you sign in after a change, we may ask you to accept the new terms.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
